Call for Good Practice Examples: User-Centered Design

Call for Good Practice Examples: User-centered Design

We’re gathering good practical examples for a publication of digital technologies designed for or with the users, which are being used to respond to the current humanitarian or development challenges.

Organizations need to put people at the heart of their design of digital technologies to better support agriculture, water security, health, livelihood, education, financial inclusion, digital capacity building, youth employment, peace building, or other global issues.

Inspired by our ICT4D webinar on Designing digital tools for Covid-19 Response for and with the User we’ve decided to create a compilation of inspiring case studies and practical advice.

Do you have any recent user-centered or user-driven ICT4D innovations you wish to share with us?

Send an email to adminict4dconf@crs.org with a short description and weblink of your ICT4D initiative, including

  • How you are engaging with your users?
  • What makes your initiative special or innovative?
  • How does it support humanitarian/ development programs?

Deadline for submissions is July 31, 2021. Late submissions might be considered.
